Shop local this season, actually every season!
My spring and early summer has been filled with gardening, paddling, and now swimming. I got into the water the first of June when the water was 51 degrees! It has improved now and is up to 62degrees!
The plants, water, and just plain being outdoors feed my creative being. I am always noticing the textures, shapes, and feeling of air, sound of wind. In order to create, that inner being needs a sense of calm which is not always easy to attain in the world we live in! I am fortunate to love being outdoors!
After a busy spring, exploring , camping, family time...and making new work, I am back!
The winter lent itself to lots of experimenting with textures and shapes and you will be seeing them appearing in my work.
My first showing will be The Yarmouth Clam Festival , 3rd weekend in July Friday thru Sunday., in my hometown of Yarmouth Maine.
But before then...keep checking the website for new updates and feel free to see if you can nab me in the studio showroom in yarmouth. Just give a call 207-846-5802.
I always enjoy seeing you!
